Our name

Did you know that toko is a word used in The Netherlands and was borrowed in 19th century from Indonesia?

It originally only referred to small asian food shops but has now morphed into a more generic term for companies & organisations.

Did you know that toko as a "borrowed word" is known by 90+% of the dutch population but only by less than 25% of the flemish population?
